Legionella Surveys
A Legionella survey is a formal evaluation of a building’s water systems to spot and stop dangerous bacteria growth. We inspect the site, log water temperatures, and then create an actionable compliance report. This process protects health, satisfies UK legal duties, and prevents costly disease outbreaks.
The surveyor maps all hot and cold water tanks, cylinders, pipe runs, and taps and record water heat levels at storage points and sentinel taps to ensure safe zones, checking for stagnant water and things that feed bacteria. If necessary water samples are sent to a lab for testing.
The report details a full list of every water asset and outlet on the property with risk findings in each area and notes on any non-compliances found, along with an action plan to make safe.
